LVF began her artistic career at age seven, shaping a lifelong devotion to creative expression and artistic translation. Working through a multidisciplinary approach, she moves fluidly between visual art, psychology, and myth. Her practice spans installation, curation, performance art, painting, mixed media, photography, poetry, and experimental sound.
Her work explores themes of duality, disruption, and the tension between perceived reality and hidden truths—both visually and conceptually—excavating the unresolved while exploiting the absurd.
Her art serves as a commentary on personal and collective emotional conflict, psychic drain, and devotional longing. Teetering between beauty and the grotesque, the work is at times confessional, and at others, a translation of what remains unsaid.
Her earliest work was exhibited at the Omni in Miami in the 1990s, and her experimental short film Chest Hump premiered at the Miami Museum of Contemporary Art in 2003. She studied art history and religion in the Mediterranean during her undergraduate years, an experience that profoundly influenced her artistic development. As a mother of two, she continues to travel and produce work that challenges convention.
LVF is also the founder of Art in Suburbia, Inc., and LVFLVX.
